Weight loss plans seem to be a dime a dozen these days, each claiming to know the “secrets” of weight loss while also making it seem effortless.  Usually, these are all bogus, or at least not as straight forward as they would initially have you believe.  At youthfountainguru.com we will be more straightforward with you and explain what is really important about weight loss.

First off, no weight loss regime will work without the most important factor, aka, you.  Without the proper commitment and state of mind don’t expect to meet your goals.  I hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but weight loss will require a lot of effort, time, and dedication.  Cutting back on calories, while not fun 100% of the time, is extremely effective and offers many benefits that you may not be aware of.

Cutting calories, also known as Calorie Restriction, is surprisingly simple to get used to and happens to be what most diet “secrets” rely on.  It is something you want to ease into gradually, and be sure to schedule “cheat days” to preserve your sanity.  After a few weeks of Calorie Restriction you won’t even think about it anymore, you will not feel as hungry anymore.  There are also studies that show Calorie Restriction vastly improved quality of life and longevity.  You can check the Calorie Restriction Society if you want to find out more about the benefits of a CR lifestyle.

A promising Calorie Restriction regime makes use of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, or hCG.  It is paired with an ultra-low calorie diet, around 5oo calories a day, for a month or so while you are being treated with hCG injections.  The beauty of this diet is that is supposed to help you lose fat, not muscle or bone mass.  The diet was pioneered by the British Dr. Simeon and has seen widespread use in clinics and private practices, yet the exact mechanism of how hCG works Is still not known. You can check out hCG here.

With any calorie restriction diet, one should be aware of their nutrient intake, as it is possible to become malnourished.  Be sure to take multivitamins and consult your doctor about any new diet regime.  Getting a few blood tests or checking your liver functions might not be a bad idea either.  Be  safe while obtaining your weight loss goals and stay positive.
